Before I started Whole 30, I knew I needed a change. I was feeling my age (50+); stiff and achey in the morning; low-energy throughout the day (and zero energy after dinner); eating without a plan (too much sugar!) and carrying too much weight. I was not enjoying life as much as I had in the past and felt overwhelmed--"is this how my life is going to be now?"
Knowing a little about Christine's journey to healthy eating and fitness sparked my interest. I attended her information session to learn the basics of Whole 30 and how she would support me as a coach. I also got some great samples (love that Primal Kitchen Avocado salad dressing!), shopping lists and recipes. I felt empowered to begin!
For me, the 30 days went by quickly. The key was planning and staying motivated. Christine's daily emails were my touchstone for encouragement, easy delicious recipes, and tips on how to manage each day and week throughout the program. She also made sure to check in to see if I had questions or issues, and helped me plan for potential challenges (i.e. "how can I stay Whole 30 compliant when I am skiing for the weekend, or travelling for work?")
Whole 30 not only changed the way I eat, it's changed the way I think about, shop for and prepare food. I have so much more energy, no aches and pains, no inflammation, and my clothes fit better. I still primarily follow Whole 30 and have introduced some non-compliant food here and there. I honestly feel 10 years younger! Thank you Christine for helping me make this positive change!
